There’s nothing that says proper South African braai like juicy lamb chops sizzling over the coals, paired with your favourite dop in hand. With the DuoKwik Braai, getting that perfect sear and smoky flavour is quick, easy, and always an adventure. Here’s how to get it right every time.

What You’ll Need

  • Lamb chops (the thicker, the better!)

  • Celery Salt (to taste)

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • Olive oil

  • Fresh rosemary (optional, but lekker)

  • A squeeze of lemon (for serving)

  • Your favourite dop (you’ve earned it!)

1️⃣ Prep the chops: Drizzle your lamb chops with a bit of olive oil, then season generously with salt and pepper. Add some fresh rosemary if you’re feeling fancy.

2️⃣ Fire up the DuoKwik: Light up those coals using the DuoKwik’s hybrid gas starter — fast, easy, and no stress. Once the coals are glowing hot (you know the look), it’s game on.

3️⃣ Braai time: Place your chops on the grid and let them sear. Depending on thickness, you’re aiming for about 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or a bit longer if you prefer them well done.

4️⃣ Rest & serve: Give the chops a quick squeeze of lemon, let them rest for a few minutes, and serve them up with your dop of choice.

DuoWild Tip:

Rotate the DuoKwik bowl if the wind’s blowing your heat to one side — no need to shuffle your chops around!

Braai. Sip. Enjoy. That’s the DuoWild way.
